The Deep Research Report
Every finished council produces a full written research note in addition to the verdict and synthesis in the thread. The Deep Research Report is composed automatically from the whole debate, opens as the leading Results view of a finished room, and can be exported as a PDF. This page explains when the report appears, how to read it, and how it is produced. The War Room is available on the Pro plan and above, and it is rolling out to eligible accounts in waves, so your account may not show it yet.
Before you begin
- Sign in on a Pro plan or above, with the War Room switched on for your account.
- Have a completed session to read. Run a council, or open a finished one from Past councils. For the full setup, see Run your first council.
Quickstart
Run or open a completed council
Finish a session on screen, or open a completed one from Past councils. A report is produced for every new session.
Open Results
On a finished room, select Results. The Deep Research Report opens inline as the leading view.
Read the report
Read the TLDR section first for the distilled conclusions, then the numbered sections for the reasoning, then the conclusion.
Export PDF
Select Export PDF on the report to save it as a clean light-theme research note for printing or sharing.
What it shows
A finished council presents its report alongside the raw debate. The parts are described in the following sections.
When it appears
The report composes after the host's synthesis, in a silent finishing pass. The Results view lights up when the report is ready. A council run before reports existed may not have one, and its record shows a plain note saying so.
Results and Transcript
A finished room presents two views. Results leads and holds the Deep Research Report inline. Transcript holds the debate as it ran: the rounds, the seat turns, and the verdict and synthesis. For the live view and the closing verdict, see The live room and the verdict.
The document
The report is a formal research note. It carries a masthead, a title block naming the topic, a numbered section structure that opens with a TLDR section, body sections, and a closing conclusion. It reads like an institutional note built from the panel's arguments.
Export PDF
An Export PDF control on the report saves it as a PDF, styled as a clean light-theme research note for printing and sharing.
The standalone report view
The report also opens on its own two ways: from the report action on a session row in Past councils, and from a replay's header controls. See Presets, history, and follow-ups.
No costs on the report
The report never displays credits or spend. A session's cost stays on the room's readout and its history row. For how a session is metered, see Spend cap and credits.
Inputs
- Nothing needs configuring. A report is always produced for a new session, with no toggle.
- Export PDF is the single action on the report itself.
Outputs and how to read them
- Read the TLDR section first for the distilled conclusions, then the numbered sections for the reasoned analysis, then the conclusion.
- The report is the polished read of the debate, and the Transcript remains the raw record. When you need to check why the report says something, the transcript's turns are the source.
- A session ended early still produces a report from what was argued, and its framing notes the session was cut short.
How it is calculated
The report is not produced by a formula or a proprietary score. It is written by the room's host from the full debate, the same way the synthesis is, and it is part of the session's normal metered work. The report carries no separate charge.
Data and timing
The report reflects the debate as it ran and the data the seats cited at that time, from AlphaVantage (Nasdaq quotes delivered through AlphaVantage) and from EDGAR for public company filings. It is a snapshot: reopening it never re-runs anything.
Use cases
- Hand a decision-ready note to someone who was not in the room.
- Export the PDF for your own records.
- Skim the TLDR of an old council from Past councils without replaying the whole debate.
Limitations and disclosures
Sessions run before reports existed have none, so run a new council to get one. The report inherits the panel's assigned stances: it is research support, not a recommendation.
