The GNG Valuation Rating

The GNG Valuation Rating is a single verdict that summarizes whether a company looks under-valued or over-valued. It appears across the platform, so it is worth understanding here. The rating ranges from Strong Buy to Strong Sell and blends several valuation methods into one composite score.

The rating is produced by GNG's own models, not by a third party. The exact formula and its inputs are proprietary and are not published in the product. The rating is a model opinion that can be wrong. It only covers companies that have enough financial data, and it refreshes once per day, so it can lag fast-moving news. Data and timing

Market figures combine price histories, company financial reports, analyst estimates, dividend records, and news. Public company filings from EDGAR provide additional company information. Each page explains the timing and limitations that apply to its figures.

Most fundamental and calculated figures refresh once daily in the early evening, US Eastern time. Intraday prices update through the trading day.
