About GNG Research
The About page tells the GNG Research story, explains who the platform is built for, and introduces the team behind it. This page documents what that public page contains and how to use it. It is for a prospective member checking who GNG Research is, a current member putting a face to the analysts they read, and a press or partner contact getting a quick orientation. The page is public and login-free, so anyone can read it, including signed-out visitors.
What it shows
The About page is read-only and organized into a few stacked sections, top to bottom. The sections are described in the following sections.
Our story
The opening narrative explains how the company began and where it is today. GNG Research was founded by Adam Galas and Connor Graham on the idea that individual investors deserve the same quality of research that institutions get. Contributing analysts Glenn Ford and Leo Nelissen later joined to expand coverage, and Tyler Hochrine joined the engineering side.
The closing paragraph summarizes the breadth of coverage today: more than 4,500 publicly traded companies carry Safety Scores, Quality Scores, and Valuation Ratings that update daily after market close, with over 300 financial metrics per company and price history going back to 1999. These figures are descriptive context for the scope of the platform, not live counters on this page.
Meet the team
This section lists each team member as a card with a photo, a name, a title, and a short bio. The members appear in this order:
- Adam Galas, Co-Founder and CEO. Two decades of published investment research across The Motley Fool, Simply Safe Dividends, Seeking Alpha, and the Adam Mesh Trading Group, with an emphasis on value-based, blue-chip dividend-growth investing and on teaching as much as informing.
- Connor Graham, Co-Founder, CTO and COO. A Clemson finance graduate and full-stack architect who built the platform's data and modeling foundation and leads engineering, product, and operations.
- Tyler Hochrine, Software Developer. A Clemson computer science graduate with prior enterprise-software experience who works on platform infrastructure.
- Glenn Ford, Contributing Analyst. Nearly two decades of market experience with a quantitative, systems-driven research approach across areas such as AI infrastructure and semiconductors, private credit, data-center real estate, fintech, and energy infrastructure.
- Leo Nelissen, Contributing Analyst. A macro-to-micro researcher who connects economic, policy, and geopolitical cycles to long-term, quality-focused stock ideas, with dividends treated as a signal of business quality.
Closing call to action
A closing card invites signed-out visitors to create a free account or log in. Signed-in visitors do not see this card.
Inputs
The About page has no controls, fields, filters, or settings. It is static informational content that you read. The only interactive elements are the Create Free Account and Log In buttons in the closing call to action, which appear only to signed-out visitors.
Outputs and how to read them
There are no computed outputs. Everything on the page is fixed editorial copy.
- The story paragraphs read as a short company history.
- Each team card reads as a profile: photo, name, role, and a few sentences of background.
- The coverage figures in the story (more than 4,500 companies, 300-plus metrics per company, price history back to 1999, daily updates after market close) describe the breadth of the wider platform's data. They appear here as static prose, not as a live readout.
Data and timing
Nothing on this page pulls live market data. The content is hand-written company and team copy plus team photos, and it changes only when the team edits the page. The coverage figures mentioned in the story describe the wider platform's data, which refreshes daily after market close, but on this page those numbers are static prose.
Use cases
- A prospective member learns who GNG Research is, and whether the team's background fits the kind of research they want, before signing up.
- A current member puts a name and a face to the analysts whose work they read.
- A visitor checks the founding story and coverage scope as part of due diligence.
- A press or partner contact gets a quick, factual orientation to the company and its people.
Access by tier
The About page is public and open to everyone, including signed-out visitors. Free, Pro Lite, and Pro members all reach it with no restriction, the same as anonymous visitors. There is nothing to gate on this page.
Limitations and disclosures
This page contains company and team background only. It carries no research output, no ratings, no valuations, and no recommendations, so the not-investment-advice statement is not required here. For how to interpret the ratings and figures shown elsewhere on the platform, see the disclosures page linked below.
