Earnings calendar

The earnings calendar lists upcoming earnings report dates for publicly traded companies, with the consensus earnings-per-share estimate, fiscal quarter, sector, and industry for each company. This page explains what the calendar shows, how to read each figure, and how the estimate and the overview counts are produced. The page is open to Free, Pro Lite, and Pro accounts.

Before you begin

  • Open the earnings calendar. No sign-in is required to read it.
  • To export the filtered list, sign in. Export is the only action that requires an account.

Quickstart

To find when a company you follow reports next, follow these steps.

  1. Open the earnings calendar.
  2. Enter the ticker or company name in the search box. An exact ticker match floats to the top.
  3. Read the Report date column for the next expected report.
  4. Optional: select Filters to narrow by date range, sector, or industry.
  5. Select the row to open that company page.

What it shows

  • A toolbar with a search box, a Filters button, an export menu, and a view toggle between Table and Calendar.
  • Table view: one row per upcoming earnings event, showing Symbol, Company, Report date, Fiscal quarter, EPS estimate, Industry, and Sector. Rows load as you scroll. Selecting a row opens that company page.
  • Calendar view: a month grid that places each company's earnings event on its report date, with controls to move between months. The calendar is scoped to the month you are viewing.
  • An Earnings overview panel on wider screens, with an Upcoming timeline, a By sector breakdown, and a Statistics block.
  • Filter chips under the toolbar that show every active filter and let you remove them one at a time or clear all.

Inputs

  • Search: free text that matches a ticker symbol or a company name. An exact ticker match floats to the top. The default is empty.
  • Filters, Date range: a From and To date. The default range is today through the next 90 days. The calendar view uses the first and last day of the month you are viewing instead.
  • Filters, Industries: one or more industry values from the companies in coverage. The default is none selected, meaning all industries.
  • Filters, Sectors: one or more sector values. The default is none selected, meaning all sectors.
  • View toggle: Table or Calendar. The default is Table.
  • Sort (table): select a column header to sort by Symbol, Company, Report date, or EPS estimate. The first selection sorts ascending, the second descending, the third clears the sort. The default sort is Report date, ascending.
  • Export: choose CSV, Excel, or PDF. Export is available to signed-in visitors only. Signed-out visitors see a Sign in to export action instead.

Outputs and how to read them

  • Symbol: the company's ticker. Select it to open the company page.
  • Company: the company name, falling back to the ticker when a name is unavailable.
  • Report date: the calendar date the company is expected to report earnings. This is the anchor for the calendar grid and the default table sort.
  • Fiscal quarter: the end date of the fiscal period being reported. A company's fiscal quarter end can differ from the calendar quarter.
  • EPS estimate: the consensus analyst estimate of earnings per share for the period, shown in the company's reporting currency to two decimals. A blank value means no estimate is published for that event.
  • Industry and Sector: the company's classification, used both for display and for filtering.
  • Earnings overview, Upcoming: counts of companies reporting Today, on the next trading day, within the next 7 days, and within the next 30 days. These counts come from the full forward calendar, not from your current filter.
  • Earnings overview, By sector: the top sectors by number of events within your current filtered view, each with a count. This reflects what you are looking at, so it changes as you filter.
  • Earnings overview, Statistics: total companies on the forward calendar, how many of those have a published EPS estimate, and how many distinct sectors appear in your filtered view.

How it is calculated

Three readings on this page deserve a plain-English translation: the EPS estimate, the Upcoming counts, and the By sector and Statistics tallies.

EPS estimate

The EPS estimate is the average earnings-per-share figure that analysts expect the company to report for the upcoming period. The platform presents the published consensus as provided; it does not recompute it.

EPS estimate = published consensus earnings per share for the upcoming fiscal period

In this reading, EPS estimate is the consensus earnings per share for the upcoming fiscal period, in the company's reporting currency, measured for the period ending on the listed fiscal quarter date. For example, a company with a published estimate of 1.42 shows an EPS estimate of $1.42; if no estimate is published, the cell is blank. A consensus estimate is a forecast that can be revised up to the report date, and it may be missing entirely for smaller or newer companies.

Upcoming counts

The Upcoming counts tell you how many companies are scheduled to report within each window starting from today.

count = number of events whose report date falls in the window

In this formula, report date is the scheduled earnings date measured in calendar days from today. The windows are: Today is the current date; the next trading day skips Saturday and Sunday to the following weekday; next 7 days spans today through today plus 7 days; next 30 days spans today through today plus 30 days. For example, if 18 companies report today, 24 on the next trading day, 130 within 7 days, and 480 within 30 days, those four numbers appear in the Upcoming list. These counts use the full forward calendar and ignore your active filters, so they will not match the filtered table count.

By sector and Statistics

The By sector and Statistics blocks are plain tallies of rows.

By sector = count of events per sector in the filtered view, top ten; Statistics = total forward events, the subset with an estimate, and the distinct sectors in view

Here sector is the company's sector classification, and the counts are plain row counts. For example, if your filtered view holds 60 Technology and 35 Healthcare events, By sector lists Technology 60 and Healthcare 35. By sector reflects only the events currently loaded under your filter, so a narrow date range narrows the breakdown.

Data and timing

The calendar combines scheduled earnings dates and consensus estimates with each company's profile information. The forward calendar refreshes daily. Dates and estimates can change before a report, so confirm the current date when planning your research.

Use cases

  • Plan ahead for a position you hold by checking when the company reports next and what the Street expects for EPS.
  • Scan a single sector's reporting schedule for the coming weeks to anticipate clusters of volatility.
  • Build a watch plan for a busy reporting week by switching to Calendar view and reading the daily load.
  • Export the filtered list to CSV or Excel to track report dates in your own spreadsheet.

Limitations and disclosures

Report dates and EPS estimates are forecasts that can change before a company reports, and a consensus estimate may be missing for smaller or newer companies. The figures are reported and consensus values you may act on, so the standard information-only statement applies.
