Overview
Markets and data brings together market-wide views and investing references. Use these pages to find upcoming reports, compare sectors, browse dividend-paying stocks, or look up a term before researching a company.
What it shows
- Earnings calendar lists expected reports and consensus earnings estimates in table and calendar views.
- This Week's Earnings groups notable upcoming reports into a weekly summary you can filter and share.
- Stock Sectors compares sector returns and dividend yields, then opens a sector's companies.
- Dividend Stocks is an alphabetical directory of covered dividend payers.
- Insider trading shows reported purchases and sales with filters and activity summaries.
- Investing Glossary explains investing terms. Data dictionary describes the platform's metrics.
These pages complement the Company page, which focuses on one security, and the Research terminal, which screens companies against your criteria.
Availability
The earnings and public reference pages are available without a paid plan. Insider trading requires a signed-in Pro Lite or Pro account. Some actions, such as exporting results, require sign-in even where a page can be read publicly.
The Methodology page is marked coming soon. Its guide describes that availability without promising a release date.
Data and timing
Read the dates and update labels on each page. Earnings dates and estimates can change, sector figures use the available historical window, and insider activity reflects reported transactions. A missing reading is not a zero.
Use cases
- Check upcoming earnings before reviewing a watchlist.
- Compare sectors over the same period before screening individual companies.
- Find a dividend payer and open its dividend history.
- Check a definition before interpreting a financial ratio.
Limitations and disclosures
Market summaries describe covered securities and available records. They are not complete records of every market event and do not recommend a trade.
GNG Research provides equity research and educational tools, not investment advice. Nothing on the platform is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Do your own research and consider your circumstances before making any investment decision.
