Compare

Use Compare to review two companies with a shared historical window and valuation setting.

Before you begin

Choose the first company and the valuation measure you want to examine.

Compare companies

  1. Open Compare

    Select Compare beside Saved views.

  2. Choose the second company

Use the search beside Comparing to select the other company.

  3. Match the context

Set the valuation measure, historical window, and available forecast horizon. Read the label on each chart.

  4. Return to one company

Select Exit compare, or select Compare again.

Check each chart

The charts sit beside each other on wider screens and stack on smaller screens. If the chosen measure is unavailable for one company, that chart identifies the measure it shows instead. A missing growth ratio also produces a notice.

Compare like measures and reporting bases. Two charts with different available measures do not form a direct valuation comparison.

Limitations and disclosures

Different businesses can warrant different valuation relationships. Similar chart shapes do not mean similar risk, returns, or financial condition.
