Overview

The AI Console is a research assistant that answers questions about stocks, your portfolios, and the market. It pulls live figures into the conversation, renders inline charts and tables, cites its sources, and can run a backtest or a Monte Carlo simulation from a single chat. This page explains what the console is, what it shows, and how it fits alongside the rest of the platform. It is available on the Free, Pro Lite, and Pro plans, with usage metered by GNG Credits rather than blocked by tier.

What it shows

The console opens on a chat workspace where you type a question and read an answer. The answer can include live figures, citations, and interactive visual widgets. The main areas are described in the following list.

  • Chat workspace: the central thread where you ask questions and read answers. An answer streams in as text, then attaches any relevant visual widget.
  • Chat sidebar: a list of your saved chats, with controls to rename, delete, share, and start a new chat.
  • Model selector and reasoning control: set which model answers and how long it thinks before replying.
  • GNG Credits meter: tracks how much of your balance remains and when it refills.
  • Subagents, marketplace, and your knowledge: entry points to specialist helpers you build or import, a catalog of shareable helpers, and your own uploaded documents.
  • Skills: reusable instruction packages you invoke with a slash command, available when the feature is on for your account. See Skills.
  • Workflows: repeatable research tasks that combine data, AI analysis, decisions, and outputs. Run them manually or on a schedule; eligible plans also offer event triggers. See AI Workflows.
  • Generated documents and the Library: the assistant builds downloadable PDF, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel files, and everything it creates is kept in your Library. See Generated documents and Library.
  • War Room: a multi-agent council that debates a topic from several angles, available on the Pro plan and above and rolling out in waves.

The assistant can draw a range of inline widgets, including price charts, company overviews, dividend charts, earnings tables and charts, sentiment gauges, options chains, insider-transaction tables, comparison tables and charts, portfolio holdings and performance, screen-result tables, backtest and Monte Carlo result panels, generated images, and downloadable document cards. You read each widget directly in the thread or expand it.

Use cases

  • Get a fast read on a single ticker without opening several pages.
  • Compare two companies on valuation, margins, and growth in one prompt.
  • Run a backtest or a Monte Carlo simulation inside the conversation and keep the result for later.
  • Ask what the platform has published on a ticker and pull the relevant figures together.

Limitations and disclosures

The assistant produces valuations, screens, forecasts, and portfolio readouts. Treat its output as research, not a recommendation. Each answer draws on the same data that powers the rest of the platform and is current to the platform's normal refresh schedule, so a figure in chat matches what you see elsewhere on the site at the same moment.
