Overview
AI Workflows lets you arrange repeatable research tasks in a visual editor inside the AI Console. Connect data, analysis, decisions, and outputs, then run the workflow yourself or activate an automatic start. Free, Pro Lite, and Pro include Workflows, with different limits and available triggers.
What it shows
Open Workflows from the AI Console sidebar. Before you create your first workflow, a gallery offers templates, Start from a blank canvas, and Build with AI. After you create one, the surface has four tabs.
| Tab | What you do |
|---|---|
| Workflows | Open, run, activate, or delete your saved workflows. |
| Runs | Review individual executions and inspect what each step received and produced. |
| Outputs | Reopen reports, files, charts, and email results from your runs. |
| Templates | Create a draft from a prepared arrangement of steps. |
The workflow list
Each workflow shows its name, trigger, status, last run, recent GNG credit spend, and creation time. Credits (7d) is the workflow's spending over the past seven days. On desktop, select Name, Last run, Credits (7d), or Created to sort. On a phone, the same workflows appear as a stacked list.
Select a name or Edit to open the editor. Run now starts the published version. The Active switch controls automatic starts. Delete asks for confirmation before permanently removing the workflow and its run history.
Drafts, saved versions, and activation
Your edits save as a draft while you work. Test runs that draft. Save validates and publishes the draft as the version used by Run now and automatic starts.
A newly saved workflow remains inactive. Turn Active on when you want its schedule or event trigger to start runs. A workflow without a trigger runs manually, even when active.
Access and GNG credits
Free includes manual runs and schedules. Pro Lite and Pro also include event triggers, such as price moves, news, and approaching earnings. All three plans support email outputs to your own account. The current controls show your workflow allowance, available models, and schedule frequency limits.
AI steps and AI-assisted generation use GNG credits. Data, flow-control, and output steps do not add an AI charge by themselves. A workflow can therefore collect data and save a report without an AI step.
An active workflow pauses if a run exhausts its credits. Adding credits alone does not resume automatic starts. Follow Resume after running out of credits to restore its Active setting and check the next run.
Use cases
- Review your watchlist on a repeating schedule.
- Explain a portfolio move using holdings, news, and AI analysis.
- Save a report only when selected information changes.
- Prepare a brief ahead of a dividend or earnings date.
Limitations and disclosures
Automatic runs do not require leaving the page open. Keep sufficient GNG credits for workflows that use AI, and review the results before relying on them. Workflows are managed in your own account; the surface has no public workflow-sharing control.
GNG Research provides equity research and educational tools, not investment advice. Nothing on the platform is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Do your own research and consider your circumstances before making any investment decision.
