Overview

Your account settings bring together everything you control about your membership: who you are, what you pay for, what the platform tells you about, and how your data is handled. This page maps these areas and links you to the detailed instructions for each. It is open to every signed-in member, on Free, Pro Lite, and Pro alike.

What it shows

Use the following screens to manage your account and respond to invitations.

Profile also contains Passkeys for device-based sign-in and Blocked users for restoring hidden comments and community watchlists.

Profile: who you are. Set your name, picture, username, email, password, and connected sign-in methods. Manage your subscription, get your referral link, and, if you ever need to, schedule deletion of your account. For the full walkthrough, see Manage your profile.
Plans and billing: what you pay for. Compare membership levels, upgrade, downgrade, start a trial, manage payment and invoices through a secure billing portal, and buy optional AI Console credit top-ups. See Plans and billing.
Notifications: what the platform tells you about. Read your in-app alerts and decide which ones reach you in the app and by email, including model-portfolio trade alerts and updates from authors you follow. See Notifications.

You can also respond to Surveys assigned to your account and review separate Investing Clubs memberships.

Your current plan name and status appear on the Profile, Billing, and Notifications screens, so you always know which level you are on.

The membership levels

GNG Research has several membership levels. The three you commonly choose between are Free, Pro Lite, and Pro. Two higher levels, Platinum and Enterprise, also exist. Your plan status

Alongside your plan name, a short status word describes the state of your subscription. The words you may see are:

Active: your plan is paid and current.
Trialing: you are inside a free trial.
Past due: a payment failed and needs attention.
Canceled: the subscription has been canceled.
Unpaid: a charge remains unpaid.
Incomplete: a checkout was started but not finished.
Paused: the subscription is paused.
Free tier: you are on the Free level with no paid plan.

The plan name and status are read directly from your subscription record. No figure is computed on this page. They update as soon as a payment, trial start, upgrade, downgrade, or cancellation is processed.

Use cases

A new member wants to know where to set a username, turn on email alerts, and see what their plan includes.
A member who is unsure whether they are on Free or a paid plan wants a quick confirmation of their current level and status.
Someone preparing to upgrade wants to understand the difference between Free, Pro Lite, and Pro before going to the billing page.
