Blocked users
The Blocked Users section of Profile lists the people you have blocked. Their comments and community watchlists are hidden from you while they remain blocked. Free, Pro Lite, and Pro can review this list and unblock someone.
Before you begin
- Sign in and open Profile.
- Select Blocked Users in the profile navigation.
Quickstart
- Find the person in the blocked list.
- Check the displayed username or name.
- Select Unblock.
- Wait for User unblocked before returning to their content.
What it shows
Each entry identifies a blocked person by their available profile name or username. An empty list shows You haven't blocked anyone.
In an article discussion, a hidden comment can leave a blocked-content placeholder when replies from other people remain visible.
Inputs
Unblock removes the selected person from your blocked list. The action takes effect without a separate confirmation dialog or the profile's general Save action.
Outputs and how to read them
After User unblocked, that person's comments and community watchlists can appear again where you otherwise have access to them. If Could not unblock appears, read the message; the action has not been confirmed.
Data and timing
The list reflects the people you have blocked from your account. Unblocking changes which of their comments and community watchlists you can see; it does not change your subscription or content permissions.
Use cases
- Review who is hidden from your community browsing.
- Restore someone's comments and community watchlists.
Limitations
This section controls visibility of comments and community watchlists. It does not grant access to private content or to a feature outside your plan.
