Plans and billing
The Billing screen shows your current plan and renewal date, lets you compare and switch membership levels, manages your payment methods and invoices through a secure billing portal, and offers optional one-time AI Console credit top-ups. The page is open to every member: Free members can view plans, upgrade, and buy credits, and paid members can manage everything in one place.
Before you begin
- Sign in to your account. The Billing screen is only available to signed-in members.
- Open the Billing screen at gngresearch.com/billing.
- To update a card, view invoices, or cancel, you use a secure third-party billing portal opened from this page. Have your payment details ready.
- Paid plans offer a 14-day free trial, so you can start one without paying immediately.
Quickstart
Open the Billing screen
Go to gngresearch.com/billing. The Overview section shows your current plan, status, renewal or trial-end date, and account email.
Compare the plans
Select Plans in the left rail to see the membership levels side by side, each with its price and what it includes.
Start a trial or switch plans
Choose a plan card to upgrade, downgrade, or start a 14-day free trial. Paid plans begin billing when the trial ends.
Manage payment and invoices
Use your plan's management button to open the secure billing portal, where you update card details, view invoices, or cancel.
Top up AI credits (optional)
Select Credits to see your balance and buy a one-time credit pack. A pack is buyable only when it is active.
What it shows
The Billing screen has a left navigation rail (Overview, Plans, Credits, Support) plus your avatar, name, plan name, and status. The sections are described in the following list.
- Payment-status banner: appears only when something needs attention, for example a past-due payment, with a button to open the billing portal.
- Overview ("Your Plan"): your current plan name, a colored status indicator, the renewal or trial-end date, your account email, and a billing-management button for members with a paid subscription.
- Plans: cards comparing the membership levels with their prices and feature bullets, so you can upgrade, downgrade, or start a trial. The bullet text and which tiers appear are set by GNG and can change.
- Credits ("AI Console Refills"): your current credit balance and a row of one-time credit packs you can buy, some with a discount badge.
- Support: a path to contact support about billing.
The membership levels
The live prices and the feature list for each level are shown below. This table is the single source of truth for plan pricing and access; the prices and bullets can change at any time.
Higher levels (Platinum and Enterprise) may also appear on the cards. Enterprise is custom-priced. Each card lists what is included at that level.
Inputs
- Plan choice (Plans section): select a plan card to upgrade, downgrade, or start a trial. Paid plans offer a 14-day free trial.
- Billing portal: a button with no fields on the GNG side. It hands you to a secure payment portal to update card details, view invoices, or cancel.
- Credit pack (Credits section): choose one of the offered packs to buy. A pack is buyable only when it is active; otherwise its button reads Coming soon.
Outputs and how to read them
- Current plan and status: your level and one of Active, Trial, Past due, Canceled, Unpaid, Incomplete, or Free.
- Renews / Trial ends date: for an active paid plan, this is your next renewal date; during a trial, it is the date the trial ends and billing begins.
- Credit balance: shown as GNG Credits, split into the part included with your plan ("included") plus any credits you have bought ("purchased"). Internal accounts may instead show an "unlimited" badge.
- Credit pack price: the price you pay now, with the pre-discount price struck through when your plan earns a discount, and a discount label badge.
How it is calculated
This page presents three figures with simple rules behind them: the date that money is next involved, your available credit balance, and the price you pay for a credit pack.
Trial-end and renewal date
This is the next date money is involved. While you are trialing, the date shown is your trial end date. Once your plan is active, it is the end date of your current billing period.
date shown = trial end date while trialing, otherwise period end date
Where trial end date and period end date are both calendar dates read from your subscription record. For example, if you start a Pro trial on May 31 with a 14-day trial, the page shows "Trial ends June 14." After the trial, it switches to "Renews" on the monthly anniversary. The date reflects what is recorded for your subscription at the moment you view it; a change you make in the portal, such as a cancel or plan switch, updates it after processing.
Credit balance total
This is how many GNG Credits you have available right now. It is the sum of the credits left from your plan and the credits you have bought and not yet spent.
total available = included remaining + purchased remaining
Where included remaining is the credits granted by your plan that you have not yet spent or that have not expired, in GNG Credits, and purchased remaining is the credits you bought and have not spent, in GNG Credits. For example, your plan included 1,000 credits and you have spent 250, leaving 750. You also bought a 500-credit pack and spent none. Your balance reads 1,250 credits (750 included plus 500 purchased). Included plan credits expire on a rolling three-month basis, and some plans grant a one-time welcome amount instead of a monthly amount. Purchased credits never expire.
Credit pack discount
Higher plans pay less for the same pack. The price you pay is the pack's base price reduced by your plan's discount percent.
price you pay = base price × (1 − discount percent / 100)
Where base price is the pack's standard price in dollars, and discount percent is the percentage your plan earns (0 for plans with no discount). On the card, the struck-through number is the base price and the bold number is what you pay. For example, a pack with a base price of $25 and a 20% plan discount shows $20.00 with $25.00 struck through and a "20% off" badge. On a plan with no credit discount, the base and final price are the same and no badge appears.
Data and timing
Your plan, status, and renewal date update as soon as a payment, trial, upgrade, downgrade, or cancellation is processed. Plan prices and the feature bullets on the cards are configured by GNG and can change. Payment, card, and invoice management happen in a secure third-party billing portal. Credit-pack purchases are processed securely and appear on your statement as "GNG AI CREDITS." No market data appears on this page.
Use cases
- A Free member compares Pro Lite and Pro side by side and starts a 14-day Pro trial.
- A Pro member whose card expired sees the past-due banner and opens the portal to update payment details.
- A heavy AI Console user tops up with a one-time credit pack and confirms the new balance.
- A member wants their next renewal date to decide whether to cancel before being charged again.
Limitations and disclosures
The Credits section can be hidden by a GNG setting, and individual credit packs can be temporarily unbuyable ("Coming soon") during rollout. The date shown reflects what is recorded at the moment you view it; a change made in the portal updates it after processing. Plan and credit-pack prices are commercial terms, not investment advice, and no research figure is shown on this page.
