Schedule a workflow
Set a repeating or one-time start for a workflow you have tested. This guide explains how to choose the time and enable automatic runs. Scheduling is available on Free, Pro Lite, and Pro, with a minimum interval set by your plan.
Before you begin
- Create and test a workflow. See Create a workflow.
- Remove any existing event trigger if you want to replace it with a schedule. Follow Remove a step or connection.
- Keep enough GNG credits available for any AI steps.
Steps
Add the schedule
Open the workflow editor and add Schedule under When it runs. Connect it to the first step that should run.
Choose the cadence
Select Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Every N minutes, or Once (a single date and time) in Cadence.
Set the date or interval
For a weekly run, choose Day of week. For a monthly run, choose Day of month from the offered range. For a one-time run, choose Date. For an interval, enter Every N minutes within your plan's displayed range.
Check the timezone
Select Timezone. The choices include Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, UTC, and UK. For an Eastern schedule, select Eastern (America/New_York).
Set the time
For a daily, weekly, monthly, or one-time run, enter Time using the 24-hour input. For example, enter
08:00for 8:00 AM in the selected timezone. Interval schedules use the interval instead.Choose market-day behavior
Optional: leave Market days only on to skip weekends and US market holidays, or turn it off. This control does not apply to a one-time run.
Save the version
Select Save and resolve any issues. Review any warning before confirming.
Activate automatic starts
Turn Active on. Return to the list to check the trigger description, then inspect Runs after the scheduled time.
Stop future scheduled runs
Turn Active off in the editor or workflow list. The saved workflow remains available for editing and manual runs. Turning the switch off is not a cancellation control for work that already started.
Outputs
An active workflow runs on its selected cadence without an open browser. Each execution appears in Runs, and any saved results appear in Outputs. A newly published workflow stays inactive until you turn it on.
The schedule does not guarantee new market information at each start. The result uses the data available when its steps execute.
If the workflow shows Paused, out of credits, adding credits alone does not restart its schedule. Follow Resume after running out of credits, turn Active on again, and check the next execution in Runs.
