Templates
Templates provide connected starting points for common research tasks. Each selection creates a draft you own and can change. Free, Pro Lite, and Pro can use templates that fit their plan's available triggers and limits.
Before you begin
- Open Workflows and confirm you have room to create another workflow.
- Prepare the portfolio or watchlist required by your chosen template.
- Keep GNG credits available if the template uses AI.
- Confirm separate War Room access for a template that uses War Room council. Workflow access alone is not sufficient.
Quickstart
- Open Templates, or browse the gallery shown before your first workflow.
- Select the card for a suitable starting point.
- Replace its example tickers and select your own resources and models.
- Inspect the instructions, connections, and output settings.
- Select Test and review the run.
- Select Save in the editor, then activate it if you want automatic starts.

Inputs
A template can contain a sample ticker, an unselected portfolio or watchlist, and AI steps that need a model. Review every step, including the schedule's timezone and the email subject or report title.
Outputs and how to read them
Selecting a template creates an editable draft. It does not start a run or activate a schedule. An incomplete draft can show issues until you choose the required inputs.
Data and timing
The template supplies an arrangement and instructions. Your run uses the information available when it executes. Review a fresh test after changing the template.
Use cases
- Learn how to combine several kinds of steps.
- Adapt a recurring report to your own holdings.
- Start with an existing example of a conditional alert.
Limitations and disclosures
A template can be unavailable because of your plan's trigger choices or workflow limits. A prepared draft still needs your review and a successful test.
